[THIN] Re: INDEX.DAT and profiles .000 .001 .002

Had that same problem with NT WTS 4.0 and policies that were supposed to
"delete local copies of roaming profiles".

I got an engineer from M$ to admit that the setting didn't work, and
then decided to keep the local copy. I thought it was supposed to be
fixed in SP6.

Now....if you're talking Win 2K, then I don't know what to tell you,
sorry.

Well I have a fun issue with a client where they ALWAYS, every login
generate a .000, .001 , .002 profile EVERY LOGIN.

After digging around some I find that the files left in the profile
that
is there are coming down to the INDEX.DAT file in the Cookies and
History Directory, and even changing the user shell folders for these
directories doesn't fix move them.

Anyone know this one?
