Using the NFuse / WI admin page / utiltiy.

You'd be best served reading the admin guide PDF that comes with NFuse /
WI, 'cos it could be a bit tedious to try and explain it fully in an
email - and anyways, if you're going to setup NFuse / WI then you'll
probably need to read it anyways.

But to be brief, you configure ICA client deployment to embed
applications, then choose the type of embedded client as Java - and you
can also choose the java packages you push, at the same time - the
lesser the number of packages, the smaller the dynamic, pushed client
size.

        Second Question.

How do you configure this on your Nfuse box?

        Thanks for everyone's help.

You don't have to use an ActiveX control - you can use
Java, and trim / configure the Java packages used, to optimise for thin
links.

Think about it, for a second - any client, and platform
type support - the local browser may not support ActiveX.

They have to at Least load the ActiveX control
(Web client) This can be imbedded so it loads automatically, we do this
on our Nfuse page. When they connect they hit a page that checks for
the latest web client, if found they forward on to the login page, if
its not found, they have to let it load before continuing.
In my tests it takes about 5 minutes on a
dial-up to download the control.

Is there a way to run Nfuse from a users
computer without having the ICA client installed on there computer.

For example, if a user is at a hotel and
using the hotel business center, can he access the nfuse page without
installing the client locally.

Or is there another product that can be
used instead. Someone in our IT department was under the impression this
could be done but I have never heard of it.

Thanks for you help in advance.
