Second Question. How do you configure this on your Nfuse box? Thanks for everyone's help. -----Original Message----- From: Braebaum, Neil [mailto:Neil.Braebaum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, January 07, 2004 9:36 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Citrix Nfuse You don't have to use an ActiveX control - you can use Java, and trim / configure the Java packages used, to optimise for thin links. Think about it, for a second - any client, and platform type support - the local browser may not support ActiveX. When they connect they hit a page that checks for the latest web client, if found they forward on to the login page, if its not found, they have to let it load before continuing. In my tests it takes about 5 minutes on a dial-up to download the control. Jason 670,616,629 mph. For example, if a user is at a hotel and using the hotel business center, can he access the nfuse page without installing the client locally. Or is there another product that can be used instead. Someone in our IT department was under the impression this could be done but I have never heard of it. Thanks for you help in advance. *********************************************** This e-mail and its attachments are confidential and are intended for the above named recipient only.
