MessageHave any of you guys run into a problem using the Java client on a newer
Windows desktop that doesn't have the JVM? I tried this from a friends PC the
other day and it wouldn't run because of that.

You don't have to use an ActiveX control - you can use Java, and trim /
configure the Java packages used, to optimise for thin links.

Think about it, for a second - any client, and platform type support - the
local browser may not support ActiveX.

They have to at Least load the ActiveX control (Web client) This can be
imbedded so it loads automatically, we do this on our Nfuse page. When they
connect they hit a page that checks for the latest web client, if found they
forward on to the login page, if its not found, they have to let it load before
continuing.
In my tests it takes about 5 minutes on a dial-up to download the control.

Is there a way to run Nfuse from a users computer without having the ICA
client installed on there computer.

For example, if a user is at a hotel and using the hotel business center,
can he access the nfuse page without installing the client locally.

Or is there another product that can be used instead. Someone in our IT
department was under the impression this could be done but I have never heard
of it.

Thanks for you help in advance.
