Agreed - if they don't go and change the name again in 18 months time.... As we are all under NDA at this point I can only speculate about a post that suggests that Citirx is planning to rename flagship products to XEN. Hypothetically if that were true of this supposed name change I would hypothetically fully support such a change. The IT world is changing fast and virtualization is becoming the mainstream. A nice short name that ties together multiple products into meaningful categories and conveys the elegance and "virtualness" of XEN, along with it hybrid opensource/commercial connotations and it's marketing approach of having a free "light" version of it's flagship product, could overall a very good thing, if such a thing were in fact to be announced publicly J If said name change were to be made I think after the initial discomfort and disruption of said hypothetical event, that may or may not be the stated intention of Citrix, would, ultimately prove to be a very effective and bold move forward in this evolving space....... That is, I would support such a move if it were in fact to occur J Steve Greenberg Thin Client Computing 34522 N. And as much as I dislike all the form over function marketeering, it's not as if it's totally unexpected, is it. I mean, how many name changes had occurred before it was called Presentation Server? Eventually it'll come full circle, and be called Winframe ;-) (and yes, I'm kinda glossing over the first product they had, because it's not really the same...)
