[THIN] Re: Buh-By Presentation Server...Hello XenApp Server

We have stuck with CTX for years.

Others I know us TS (Terminal Server), as that has also been a constant over
the years.

Anything is better than MetaFrame XP. Management where I worked got it confused

matter how many times I explained it.

The worst part is changing the server names - I use a 3 character identifier
for server type, so Citrix servers went from WFS (WinFrame Server) to MFS
(MetaFrame Server) to XPS (XP Server), then to MPS (MetaFrame Presentation
Server). The next batch will just be plain old CTX for Citrix :)

Indeed.

And as much as I dislike all the form over function marketeering, it's
not as if it's totally unexpected, is it.

I mean, how many name changes had occurred before it was called
Presentation Server?

Eventually it'll come full circle, and be called Winframe ;-) (and yes,
I'm kinda glossing over the first product they had, because it's not
really the same...)
