Sure - NDS works and operates slightly differently, than AD.

But I'm far from convinced there are true, meaningful ommisions in AD, that
are present elsewhere, that aren't mere cludges or workarounds to other

I've been using AD for quite a while now (was probably what was considered
as early adopters)  as a directory repository, and have written various
amounts of ADSI code to leverage it.

Whilst not perfect (is anything?), I'd suggest it's far from what it's
detractors would like to claim.
