Just a little advice. I suggest you throughly test ZfD before you totally do away with the NT domain. DLU works beautifully, it's the ZENworks policies that are the problem. There are problems with them applying and getting them to undo. This is from personal experience. My Metaframe XP servers are 2k running on an NT4 domain (currently). I'm using DLU to move away from the domain config that was here when I got here. The domain has been running with Account Manger for NT, and we've been having some sync problems which is why we are migrating to the DLU/Zen solution. BTW I have solved my problem, it was operator error, + Win XP problem. My 9x machines are passing stuff perfectly. What tools do you use to = sync with the NDS ? What NDS version? We have the same problem that passthrough doesn't work. Running MF1.8 on NT4 in a NT4 domain, using NDS for NT 2.01 to sync = between NDS 754 Gabrie >>> JEAST@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 17-10-02 22:15 >>> I have a question reguarding NDS pass through authentication. =20 My clients, mixed '9x NT 2K XP. My servers, MF XPa FR2. =20 My clients aren't passing through authentication. once you're into the Application Farm and click on an app, it prompts you for the NDS or the NT username and password. Am I not doing something right, or am I to use the passthrough wrong? My users don't want to authenticate twice, I know when they save their password, it doesn't bother them again. But when they change their password (regularly) PN prompts for them to authenticate again. They are regular users, they can't seem to remember how usernames and passwords work, much less apply them... ;D John John East (205) 951 7165 www.newsouthfederal.com=20 -- No attachments (even text) are allowed -- -- Type: text/plain *********************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online http://www.go-eol.com=20 Visit Jim Kenzig of thethin.net at the Emergent Online Booth #221 at Citrix Iforum 2002!
