We are using shutdown.exe on our terminal services running with the following
parameters:

Shutdown /L /R /C

That should kill all open processes and reboot your babies -- we haven't had
any boxes hang using shutdown in this manner.

Thanks,

Which workd best for automated WinAT controlled shutdown and reboot
        of a Win2K server - TSSHUTDN.EXE or SHUTDOWN.EXE from the 2000
resource kit. Or are they the same. I have 2 servers which usually
hang
during the shutdown/reboot process. I am using TSSHUTDN.EXE
