[texbirds] (local interest only) Harris County Short-Billed Dowitcher ebird sightings to be reviewed

Harris County Ebirders.
Cin-ty Lee and another strong long-time Houston-area birder separately emailed
me their concerns that due to the lack of previous editor review of
Short-Billed Dowitchers in Harris County, many reported short-billed dowitchers
in the county may be misidentified. I agree this may be a problem especially
outside migration windows. Thus the Harris County ebird short-billed dowicther
filter has now been set to zero.
Since it is a special interest of his, Cin-ty has agreed to help review future
ebird field notes for short-billed dowitchers in Harris County. Thus please put
notes and/or photographs for this species in the box provided when submitting
short-billed dowitchers in harris county to ebird. I will be forwarding those
notes/photos to Cin-ty.
