[texbirds] Whooping Crane, Brazoria County

Howdy y'all,
The manager of Brazoria NWR, Cody Dingee, refound the Whooping Crane along
CR 227 in Brazoria County today. It was out in a rice field on the west side
of CR 227 about 1/2 mile south of FM 2004 with a huge flock of Sandhill
Cranes. The bird is banded and Jennifer Wilson, FWS biologist got a bunch of
photos so hopefully we can determine which individual this bird is. As far
as I could tell it has been there all day but I just found about it around
2:00. It was still there at 3:00 when I left.
