Hi everyone,
It was a beautiful morning for a bird walk. Green Parakeets were spotted
feeding in the trees between the Municipal Park and South Pond. A male and
Female Ringed Kingfisher were spotted perched together at North Pond. Most
of the ducks on the list were spotted at South Pond. Lots of bird activity
was also in front of the Fee booth. Below is this morning's bird list.
ANNOUNCEMENT: *There will be no bird walk on Tuesday, February 11th* due to
the preparation of our Coastal Expo Event. The Main Building and our
parking lot will be closed on February 13th and 14th, but the grounds will
remain open from 7am- 4pm. Nearest parking is at the Municipal Park which
may have little parking available. There also will be large groups of
students entering and exiting the grounds for the Discovery Walk activity
occurring during the event.
*We will be closed on Saturday, February 15th and will resume normal
operating hours on Monday, February 17th.*
