Geek Squad is operating through Best Buy stores
I think they are marketing mostly towards home users with little experience
in upgrades, virus and spyware and instruction.
I called once to get an idea what they charrge to upgrade a win 98 to XP
they told me starts at minimum $85.00 service fee and then varies from
amount of time required plus cost of software.
 Never gave me hourly rate
I hung up
