Larry, Thanks for the tips, another couple of questions, are these resistors
surface mount of through hole? Just wondering what to bring to the customers
house. Is this TV hard to get into? I would like to appear at least
semi-intelligent when I open it up, :-)

Dave, did you check/replace R3243 110K 1/2 watt? have to pull one leg to
check it, goes way up in value and sometimes opens. Note that it`s
VERY difficult to find, it`s located by the HOT heatsink usually on the
right side,behind the heatsink, once you find R3244 (82K) your close
they are in series with each other, have seen several of them cause your
problem, also causes convergence problems, ie, no video with 3 bowed
bars, 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, Hope this takes care of it for you,
