It was asked NOT to send just thank yous to the list. I've seen people send a 
thank you to each response,
on list...there is no need for that.
Sending a thank you in your "fix" email is perfectly acceptable.

I thought I read a message a few weeks ago saying not to post thank yous for
tips that worked because of the high volume of emails and to simply say
