Marvin, Here are a few things to check, Make sure the cooling fans are 
running, also clear of dust on the intake of then and on the exhaust. Make 
sure that there not plugged into a cable box turning the set completely off 
before the bulb has time to cool down by the fan running after set is turned 
off. Also be aware of  replacements Try to get it from a place that stocks 
OEM.
