Jerry,

I will take another look for the broken pieces you mention. If the
problem proves to be a binding problem what do you recommend I do to fix
this? Is there a solution for this binding problem or is the fix simply
realigning the chassis. Thanks for your response.

If its less than 3 years old, I have had a couple of tvcrs which, among
other problems, left the reel brakes on because pieces had broken off
inside
the cam gear. If its older than that, reel brake problems were caused by
the
ML Holder lever binding and not keeping the Main Lever in the position
to
keep the brakes released.
