(Name?), here's some info that may help.

Replace CR4118, C4108, CR4402, C4402 & C4401
even if they check good. Also check CR4101, CR4606,
CR4111, C4105, Q4101, CR4122, CR4123, R4150, R1928,
R4114, C4705, C4115, CR4709, C4145, C414, CR3101,
R4150, C4141, SCR501, CR4504, C4503, R3126, CR4303,
CR4710, C4145, Q4105, R4102, C3124, R4704, R4713,
Q3102, R4904, U4101, the yoke, pin of 12-13 of T4102
could be open, resolder L4803 & T4401, and possibly
L4702, U4801, U1902, Q4302 check for shorts (pin 1-3) in
U1901 If you are getting ~15v from the PS, IC3101 & Q4601
could be bad. If it's down below 15v, replace C4145.

OK here's the deal: I brought this projector module into my
shop and found R767U open and R763U to be discolored. I
replaced these with the high voltage splitter and checked
other surrounding components. Set still won't activate. My B+
is 130 volts and all other secondary voltages are right on
the track. I have a good pulse to the base of the horiz..
Output transistor. When I push the power button, I notice
that the 130 volts gets loaded down to around 70 volts. If I
disconnect the anode lead from the splitter and clip a lead
from about a tenth of an inch from the lead to ground, it
makes a spark once then shuts down, so I know my high voltage
is trying to come up, but shuts down. I've checked the caps
in the horiz.output collector circuit and they check good.
The only thing I can find out of place is my 130 volt line is
dropping down. Has anyone had a problem like this in the
past? Could it be the flyback? Thanks for input on this.
My customer would like to have this set back before
Thanksgiving. N
