The centering rings? I asked myself. There is no way I could have knocked them that far out, IF I even touched them. Well at this point I don't care. I was able to bring the green into the red and blue with the rings. I don't see how I could have possibly moved the rings approx 180 degrees but at this point I am thrilled with just having to converge it now.---jeesh--as I typed that I realized that I had subbed out the convergence board to diagnose---put original back in--voila--no convergence needed I am groveling at your feet with appreciation these last couple of days guys. My mind has been mush because of other extenuating circumstances. It feels like I am fighting my way out of the fog---mentally Thanks Jeff Lyles TV and Appliance 17 S Washington St Elkhorn, Wi. 53121 ph 262-723-3477 fax 262-723-3658 tech@xxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill McFarland" <billmcfarland@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 22, 2003 3:16 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: RCA PTK169PGB P52738WK injected problem--I think > > Jeff, > > This same thing happened to me once...Just once..Before you spend hours and > hours in the convergence section (like I did) Check and make sure you did > not bump the centering rings on the CRTs while you were changing the > HVblock..
