Check all caps in the P/S for high ESR and check the on relay for a
short. I think the bad cap you are looking for is 220uF @ 35 volts.

Subject: [TechAssist] Quasar Model QC-29H20S Ch YAREDC204 Won.t turn off

I got this set in yesterday with the complaint that it would not turn
off. Well today I plugged it in and it turns on and off with no problem.
The lady sais that it would not turn off on the front panel buttons.
They work ok here. T One problem I found was wgen I turned the set off,
the heaters stayed lit like when the tv is on. I also found that on some
stations I get a vertical black bar on the left side of the screen. Are
there any known issues with these tv.s
