I've seen this on the NAP sets that use the TDA8302 vertical IC. This one uses a +/- 13vdc for the supply where older sets use 26vdc. If the vertical IC is at fault, you can see symptoms that resemble a degauss problem. Also the foils are real sensitive, so you need to be carefully with the temperature of your soldering iron when working on these sets.
