Long ago [in the 50's]  we had a complaint of a snowey picture on ch # 6 an
Indianapolis station
90 miles away, my boss went out and got the customer setting in front of the
tv,started the tv in a slow vert roll, told him when the picture got good
then stopped the roll-- He was satisfied
