You didn't say /where/ you selected the group of messages...I think we are on "different pages" here. I am on Mozilla 1.7 here. I have my list of mail folders at the right side of the screen. (inbox, sent, fixes, research, etc) In my email, at the top, I go to /Tools/ and click. This drops down a menu and the first option is "/search messages/". others are below that. Click /search messages/ and a window appears that at top says "/search for messages in:/ " and I can select, say, "inbox". I now have a blank line I type "fix". This searches all refs to "fix" in the subject line of my inbox. The resulting list of twenty or so appears. now I can click the first, shift+click the last whick blacks them all (I wanted to select all) now, if I right click the mouse OVER the highlighted search results, right click does not work. It DOES work other places in mozilla inbox and elsewhere. thats what I'm saying. phil Jim Myers wrote: >When I select a group of messages in Thunderbird, or a single message, >then right click, I get options to "copy to" or to "move to" among other >options.
