If you have a dead set, can't you use any picture tube and yoke to see if it comes on? Of course the picture would look unusual. What I do if I think I know what the problem is, I will bring just the chassis in, fix it and take it back. About 1/3 if the time I have to bring the set in anyhow. But at the time it does save me time in finding someone to help me pick up the set. So far I have been bringing the Tvs in but as they get bigger I got no way to test them. The way I understand it is all I need is a CRT and a yoke. Am I correct? Need some input cause I'm tired of lugging them around. al marquardt ampm@xxxxxxx ------------------------------------------ Submit A Repair Tip For Everyone Here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html ------------------------------------------ Submit A Repair Tip For Everyone Here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html
