The parts in the circuit were all parts from tv's etc. and I've etched the 
circuit
board myself, so I don't think
that the number was written on the side in black ink because of a kit.  Nice 
thought
though I thought of this
myself. It's in an akward spot so I'll use a bright light and a mirror today

Elcom theory is an
interesting one---my father when he was alive used elcom, years ago!

BTW this PS has a switch on the front which changes the meter from a Volt M to a
Current M very handy.

I would like your schematics for your PS incase I need to turn to them  someday
