[TechAssist] Hitachi TV chassis NP83LX, jail bars across screen

This is a 27" Hitachi , model TE-4440X, chassis NP83LX.
I replaced the flyback with an Asti Magnetics replacement, # 2433843.
Now set works fine other than there are jail bars across the screen. The
bars are not solid black, but rather a dull kind of shadow, and gradully
fade out toward the right side of the screen. The bars are about 3/4
inch wide and 2 inch between them.
I have changed caps around the flyback: C707, C717, C720, and C724. Also
changed a few caps in the SMPS which were high ESR. Problem still
exists. Is it possible this generic flyback is causing the symptoms?
