This site and the support received benefits my customers who normally would pay for a required schematic, even if just to ID a resistor. It's hard enough to justify the cost of repairing consumer electronic products in this throw-away world. This exchange of free information actually makes some of the repairs profitable, the techs are all top notch and most are very helpful, some of the ASC's are right on the money because they've seen the same problems over and over. You couldn't ask for a better site or a better bunch of guys (and gals). I had to throw-in my two cents - keep up the good work administrators. David Lessard. All we do is to try and coordinate it all. The site sells nothing actually except for a place for techs to help each other. The site was developed out of need. No one ever sat down and said I am going to make a tech site. The site just slowly evolved out of need. I think what makes this site good is the quality of the membership. We keep the design down to just the basics. No flashy graphics or gimmicks just the data is important. I used to buy a schematic to id resistors and other fried parts. I only buy schematics now occasionally to troubleshoot.
