I have two ESR meters.
The Dick Smith is great, and not very expensive as
things like that go.
I didn't find the "kit" all that easy to assemble
however.
If I had it to do over, I would pay the extra for a
working one.
My second I didn't buy. It was already in the shop
at Future Tech when I took over.
It is made by Shell's Electronics, and I like it
better than the Smith.
Probably because it has an analog Meter instead of
LED's for the read out.
Guess I'm showing my age with that.
The Shell's meter also cost more.
Either way, you DO need this piece of equipment.
