Jim, Here's the answer to Perry's question about the tuner. If you replaced the tuner and the part # on the tuner is #175-02721, you have to replace a resistor in the 5v source circuit. The resistor location # is RX3417, and you change it from a 680 ohm 1/2w, to a 330 ohm 2w. The resistor is in the 5v source supply, off of the collector of Q3404. The tuner will not function without changing this resistor, and naturally there is no instructions about this with the replacement tuner. I don't know if this pertains to your model or not? The model I had this problem with was a A27A11D, but you can tell, if the tuner # is the same, then this resistor has to be changed.
