David, you are correct in that it is not usually economically worth to
repair a 250W power supply, however there are cetain circumstances where
it is, such as- you have an old computer someone is willing to pay you
$50.00  for but the power supply isn't working. Are ya gonna bother
ordering one at $25.00 plus shipping if all it needs is a couple of
$2.00 transistors?

Basically my point of the message was to try and help Barry, not to
suggest trying to repair 250W power supplies. Actually when I did those
repairs, power supplies were more like $60.00 at the time.
