The Toshiba tv/dvd combos that we have seen were made by and were identical
to Orion models. The tray "problem" comes about because the plastic parts
are too flexible and if you give the tray a good push the gear teeth just
jump time. I warn the customer about that so that they dont expect me to
retime it for free every time they give it a hard shove. Not sure why you
are having the disc read problem. The troubleshooting guide just says to
check the connectors associated with the DVD Mecha and DVD pcb.

Subject: [TechAssist] 2 Toshiba Combos model MD19N3 Fixed trays but has
Incorrect Disk errors

> I have 2 of these toshiba MD19N3 TV/DVD combo units from the same
customer. Failed within 3 days of each other. Both had the tray problem,
fixed the trays. Now they both say "incorrect Disk". When I remove the disk
they say "No Disk", so the unit is seeing a disk when they are in. Is there
a user setting to change the region code or something like that?
