Whilst we're discussing equipment at sites and energy consumption etc., does anyone use any kind of stock control system, maybe using bar codes, for updating their inventory? If so, do you use such a system for general parts.. assuming you carry out any first line maintenance. I would like to implement a bar code stock and inventory system for signals, pay & display maintenance and traffic counters... yes, we do those also! Can you recommend any particular system?
