Well, it wasn't really an attempt to break it. It was the same motor and set
up as the perfect OS launch. If you didn't see it.

It wasn't all that expensive and time is easy if you're underemployed.

I don't think it's cute, funny or even a spectacle, but it certainly is a
waste of good money

and lots of your time Robert... I wish I had that much time and money on my
hands!!!

A nice spectacle would be the safe launch and recovery of your Der Red Max
high power rocket.

That Der Red Max deserves an L850 for a nice smooth flight and a majestic
dual-deploy

with an 8' chute for recovery!!!

I would love to see that!

I think everyone would!

Re-kitting your rocket is never good.

I was there to witness the spectacle. Robert - one way or another your
launches are exciting!

Sorry about the loss.

Hope it's repairable, if so I might be interested in a kit...after testing
is completed. Sorry bout your rocket, at least you were able to make the
launch. Wish I could have made it

The launch was a great success-I made a new der Red Max kit..

I'll be taking orders soon..

RZ

It spit the nozzle and sent the rocket up about 80 feet. The nozzle bent the
stainless steel blast deflector about 45 degrees.

Hey All

Ok I am here, the launch location is the street before Del Norte if you are
traveling East from Kamm and 145 and naturally it will be the street after
Del Norte if you are heading West on Kamm, go South on the dirt road and
look for my rig on the left in the middle of the Alfalfa, stay on the road
until we check the ground out in the morning.
