I am trying to break/loosen the axle nut on the 67. I had a really hard time
finding a 46mm socket, called everywhere I could think of in Austin and Harbor
Freight was the only place that carried one. I tried Austin V-Dub, Sears,
Lowes, Home Depot, Snap on tools and a few more. What I really wanted was an
impact socket but the one from HF is not an impact socket and is 3/4 inch
drive. So I got a 2 foot breaker bar, and still no luck. I know I have some
weight to put behind it but this nut could have been placed 40 years ago. I
tried advice from the idiots guide and still stuck.

Sammie claims this is a one hour job to replace an e brake cable, maybe you
folks know some tricks. Any advice is a help.

Jeff
