If you call ahead of time, tell them that you are planning a golf turnament for a Morgans point police deparent fundraiser. And tell them that you need a golfcart for the fundraising photographer. They will give you a Cart for free if they have any sense.

Now wait a minute Jeff! I can't be the official tourny photog without paying like I'm a golfer? And I don't need no stinking golf cart, I've got legs that work ok. What if I manufacture and wear some sort of fake press badge? Surely that would get me in. Or perhaps a cookie bribe?

Golf isn't always snooty, but at a country club you can count on it. Most courses require people on the course to pay. Just like going to the food buffet. If you sit at the table, you are buying a buffet. They don't want people sneeking on and playing without paying, so that is their control method.

Additionally, carts are only big enough for 2 golfers and their clubs. So unless we have an odd number of people, they will at least charge a cart rental fee, because it would be an extra cart.

A golf round usually takes 4hours or so. I don't know how much fun it would be watching Chuck hit it out of the rough for that long.

I was saying that I would drive one of the carts for the teams. Are you calling me a goofball? Thank you, I will take that as a compliment. But if I can't just be a "cart girl", then count me out.

Yes.

Golfers are like real poker players. The rules are strict and are obeyed. If someone comes to play real golf and they don't have a cart because goofballs are joy riding hell will happen.

When we book the groups, we will need to find out if the course allows people to drive a cart and not play. Most golf courses require you to pay a full green fee if you are going to be on the course.

You guys are either being nice or biting your fingernails off trying not to say what you are thinking. Seriously, I wouldn’t do that to you, not the time to try to learn to play. If you need a cart driver……
