IMHO, It all depends on the filter. Filters made for fuel injection are
designed to withstand the pressure needed for proper operation of the
injectors and are always after the pump. If you are using a see thru filter
like I usually run, I figure if it were to ever spring a leak, it would be
better before the pump than after.

I run a rotory fuel pump  .does it make any difference
if you place the fuel filter between the gas tank and
pump or pump and motor?
