Yep. No battery even installed right now -- all testing done with battery on ground and jumper cables hooked to appropriate places. When I do the fuel lines today I'll scoot forward and get an ohm-meter on the reverse switch and have someone wiggle the shifter. So with out having the motor in, you are going to have to run a jumper off the battery. -----Original Message----- From: tcb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tcb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gerald Livingston Sent: Tuesday, January 12, 2010 10:48 PM To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tcb] Re: Front turn signal housing? The sockets are a bit loose and one of the welded in nuts is missing on the right base. I think I can clean and tweak to get them in better working order. I just wanted to be able to replace them with repops while I work on the originals. I have the same problem with the back-up light housings. I can find lenses and seals all day but no bases and the sockets are very twitchy. It may be fairly easy to cut the sockets out of the back-up lights and put in replacements though. All the outside lights are working now except the back up lights. Looks like I need a new reverse switch. Should be stabbing the motor tomorrow. Have to replace the fulke hose while it's out. Sucks that no local shops carry 7mm hose. I bought 1/4" but it "feels big". Surely as many of those things that are sitting around in salvage yards there should be some good used ones out there. Will check with Oakhill Auto if you want to see if they may have some laying around. --- On Tue, 1/12/10, Gerald Livingston <gerald.tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Gerald Livingston <gerald.tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Front turn signal housing?
