Great, I wish I thought of checking it out that way.

Hi Rich, it appears that way. I've just created an anniversary entry to
test it and it duplicated itself on the 23 Jan 2012. The clever thing that it
removed itself from next year's calendar when I deleted today's test entry! So
it looks that the repeat feature comes with the territory as it were.

    Cheers,
    Amro

Could you explain the "Anniversary" option?
Does this repeat automatically every year?
I did not see the option for repeat here ,as in the memo option.

    Thank you.

I don't think that is the way to do it, creating a note I mean. When you
are creating a new entry in calendar, one of the fields is entry recurring. In
the new entry dialog arrow down few times until Talks say (not repeated). Hit
the select button there and set how often you need that reminder to be repeated.

        hi
i want to add the same event to my calendar for each month
for example income support and d l a dates
however i can't seem to be able to do it
i can if i want to go down each month and type the information in but
there must be a faster way
i heard that something called notes can do this by adding a note and
copying it to the clipboard then pasting in to the required date on the calendar
        but i can't find notes
        .

looked in applications and also in tools but nothing saying notes
can anyone tell me where this application can be found?
        i am using a nokia n86

also would anyone know of another way to do this?
i did try composing a text message but when i copied it and pasted it
all i got was my phone number so that didn't work
        thank you
        Yvonne
