Yes it sounds like you have locked your phone entirely and to unlock it you
must put in the default pin which is 0000. I hope this works for you. Don't
forget to hit select or options after entering the pin.

I have the e71. Recently, well today I found twice I must have hit some key
combination which sort of locked the whole phone. Unlock you say but no it was
not as simple as thatr, I could not. Now I could see that I had done something
because I could see a tiny white box on top right and top left of the screen.
Only thing I could do was input letters or numbers from the keypad but I could
not do anything with them. they just went in an edit type box. I was then
able to press options and got some options which I forget but they did not help
me. I had to turn it off and on again to clear it. I can only describe the
two white rectangular boxes either side of the screen at the top as something
similar like say when one puts the computer in to safe mode. Anyone got any
ideas what was going on there?
