She obviously didn't tell me that bit but think she was rushing and obviously
didn't think it was important and you know what teenagers are like, always
thinking about other stuff at the same time, she isn't always very good at
explaining, thanks, Carol

  Carol,

I can actually remember your nease phoning in, I took that call, and remember
asking which synth you wanted, and can remember mentioning the additional
charge to add the other voices as you already had eloquence, or just pay the
£50 and have what you've got.

Now I'm not sure if your nease relayed this or not, but the choice was made.

Either way, this is easily dealt with in seconds, and can be resolved even at
this hour of the day.

    Carol,

Whatever voice pack your nease chose for you is the one then that you have.
It could be that she's not installed any synth for you, but rest assured you'd
have paid for one.

Go into the talks setting, arrow to the speech tab if needed, what does the
top option say?

          Hi Carol.

That is simply not the case. When you buy talks, you can choose
whether you want the vocalizer/realspeak voices or the eloquence voices at time
of purchase. If you choose one, you can use those voices in perpetuity unless
or until you decide you want to buy the other voices in which case you'll have
both sets of voices to choose from.

          All the best, Ibrahim.

That is disgusting, you pay for talks and then you pay for voices,
are we all made of money? Carol

              Steve,

You must first buy a license for it to use any of the real speak
or vocalize voices.

These are on sale from any of the UK dealers and are priced at
around £35 or so.

Hi, I've installed a vocalize voice on my N85 and everything went
OK, but how do I use it? I can't find any option to use this voice! I thought
I'd be able to change to it within the talks settings, but no joy...any help
please? Cheers Steve.
