Why is it questionable that Email will work on the N86?  I can assure you
Nuance are working on it, but I can?t give a release date.

I tried to install this on my n91, but it does not work. When starting
installation it told me that the application is not compatible with the
phone, but asked me if I wanted to install anyway, which I did. When I tried
to run it, it just told me that feature is not supported. I do realise that
this is an old phone. My contract is out and I do want to upgrade. I
initially wanted n86, but since email doesn't work with talks and looks like
it is questionable if it ever will and email is essential to me
unfortunately looks like I'll have to consider other options, but that's
another subject.

I don't have any problem about discussion of third party apps which work
with talks on talks phones so no problem with this.  Cheers!

Skype have released a beta client and it would appear to be very accessible,
including Skype chat, Skypeout, and free Skype to Skype calls.
