Hi Dean, yes I know that. Pressing talks key+2 will toggle the speaking of
upper case and I quite like that feature when texting for example. What I was
on about is when I haven't typed anything and I'm in the "to" or "text" fields.
Talks will say "to, add, dictionary upper case"...at this point I haven't done
anything apart from move to that section. Cheers Steve.

The reason it says upper case at the start when you know you are set to lower
case is because sentences start with a capital letter.

    Hi Steve,

When it says upper case, it means the next character you type will be in
upper case. This is so you know immediately what to expect.

Hi list, just installed Talks 4 on my N85 and my initial thoughts are
mixed I guess. The pluses are being able to reassign the talks key, the daisy
player and the fact you can select a ringtone without muting talks. The
minuses are talks still doesn't read the radio window, the photos window and I
can't tab between phone memory and memory card in the gallery view. Talks is
also reading some odd stuff when in a message window. In the "to and text"
fields it says "add/text, dictionary upper case", even when its set to lower
case!...it didn't say anything like this before. 1 more thing is that a
message tone still will not be played when talks is on and the phone is locked,
only when muted. I think because specific phones are listed in the "supported
phones" list, you can get the impression that work is done to make talks work
specifically on that phone, but really it's an across the board support for the
cymbian platform...and I'd be interested to find out if there's much difference
from phone to phone when it comes to functionality of specific apps. Cheers
Steve.
