I understand your comment there Steve because I never thought I could use the Zooms, that it would not be big enough for me or magnified enough which might be the correct term but it is! Shame on you <Smile>. Yes, Vodafone said the same for me too. They don't know what they are on about half the time. You can download and install it from: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer You do need the highest band of connection though, such as wifi. I have tried, and was successful in finding and starting to listen to a programme but, accessing it was with the use of my magnifying glass. I guess you can magnify it with Talks and Zooms, but, I haven't tried that yet. According to Vodafone, the iPlayer is not available in this country yet from a mobile, it's only available in France and Germany I think. I'm not up on certain connections, but, as far as I can gather you can only do it by connecting via wifi. I also downloaded it, but like you said, when you select it, nothing happens...it's because it's asking you to connect via wifi. That's as much as I know if it's of any help. Cheers Steve. ----- Original Message ----- From: All formats To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2009 4:46 PM Subject: [talks-uk] BBC IPlayer for the N96 Hi Everyone I have the feeling this may have been covered to some extent last week so apologies if it already has. I have loaded the BBC IPlayer to my N96 but it is completely accessible as far as I can tell. I have Talks on the N96 if that helps anyone to help me, as it were! If it isn't accessible I will find myself writing a strong letter to the editor! Thanks.
