Totally agree. 3g can in no way interfear with talks! 3g is simply a
different protocol of mobile phone comunication! It in no way changes the way
phone software works, except that it gives you faster packet data conectivitty.
It's similar if someon'd tell you that all computer using dialup were fine, but
that if you use ADSL jaws wouldn't work with it.

What a sweeping generalisation I have an .N70 is 3G, and I and many more
have no trouble with Talks.

Yup, I used a Panasonic X700, basically, forget it! In fact, I'd advise
you to avoid any phone other than Nokia for talks. Reason for this is that
Nokia developed the Simbian platform and apparently, the version they licence
to other manufacturers is not the same version. There are some variations
which affects the performance of Talks with them.
