Hi, the fact that there was no choice for her since the city did not decide
it would be much safer to have sidewalks then making people walk down the
middle of the street.

No this is not the case at all. She was walking down the middle of the 
street. Kind of like jay walking. sorry to say she is just as much in the 
wrong as the hit and run driver of the SUV.

As the family's lawyer Joe what would you base your lawsuit on?
