Rob, There are so many features on SR that I don't know how to use. As with many software programs, I have just barely had the time to learn to use the basics and then teach what I learn to the volunteers. Will using crossfade delete remove time? We have a very quiet recording environment so the small things like page turns and lip smacks are quite noticeable. We use the mute to remove those noises without removing time. I am wondering, though... Unless you are trying to keep the file a specific time, why not use Crossfade Delete instead? It would sound more natural if your noise floor is at all audible. Is it possible to have a simple shortcut key for the mute feature. We use it a lot in editing our NLS talking book recordings. Thanks for such a great product.
