Are there other audio programs that will let me record larger files than 2
gig?

Your life is not over!!! My name is Roger Cicchese. Although you may
see Jane.Kronheim as the sender I'm actually the one who uses Studio
Recorder. It sounds like , when you were transfering your audio tapes
to the computer and you reached that 202 minute warning your computer
ran out of useable memory. I had this happen once. The simple solution
is to create smaller files. I would be glad to assist you in
transferring these audio files if doing so yourself is proving to be
too frustrating. My partner and I run a professional studio called
Voices of Xperience where we do lots of file and format transfers
among other things. Tell us where you are and feel free to call us at
