Hi David,
Scrubbing means moving by tiny amounts of time. If you use control plus the
left and right arrows, you can edit by fractions of seconds to delete what
you want without getting any artifacts in the editing because you can edit
at very precise parts of a word, etc.
Does this make sense?

Ok Larry,

You mentioned something that I have been wanting to ask for a long time and
keep forgetting to ask. You would think after more years of using this
stuff than I will admit to I would know this, but I don't.

What does "scrub" mean? I really am not into cleaning the floor, and I am
sure that doesn't have anything to do with that!

It sure does, Harry.

Hi Larry,

2 things:

1. Thank you so much for the info about using the bracket keys for
selecting audio!

2. I know this is off topic, however, I cannot thank you enough for the
bookport desktop that's coming out!

I left you a message a few months ago, about editing audio files, and my oh
my, what a great recorder this is gonna be!

Those who do professional recordings, and those who just want to record
things like notes, lectures, things off the radio, you name it, will be able
to do some real awesome editing!

I cannot thank you enough Larry, for letting me have access on this recorder
to do some great editing!

I do have 1 question though:

1. Does it have a plug for an AC adapter, so I can use it here at home with
AC, and not have to use the batteries, accept when I am out on the road
doing recordings?

Harry

Mike, look through the menu structure. Each item also shows its shortcut
key.

To start a selection, press the [. To mark the end, use ].
You can also mark a selection with shift and the arrows, but the brackets
are usually easier.
