What meant when I said that gun ownership wouldn't stop a military blitzkrieg
was citizens against a frontal military assault. The natural tactical
alternative is guerrilla warfare, waged by an armed population. History has
shown this to be highly effective against a standard army. Just ask anyone who
fought the VC in Viet Nam.
