It's a tricky one Maggie..there is nothing wrong with the palm oil
itself..especially if it comes from the places where it is harvested
legally. The real issue is not the oil but the way people are harvesting it
illegally. Pity we don't know which area it comes from when we buy it.

Fellow Soapers....
With all the hoo haa about Palm Oil on TV/Radio these days, what say you all
about using the product?
I have a couple of soap recipes that use Palm Oil but am loathe to make them
unless I can find a substitute for Palm Oil. Any suggestions?
